The other night I went to a club to dance and have a good time.....I'm giving up a "year"...I'm very excited about my beard...I have all my products...Beard soap, beard oil, mustache wax, beard balm, comb and brush... I care a lot about my beard. I heard that you don't have to touch your beard all the time because some hairs can fall out....and at the club, this drunk woman was talking to me and out of nowhere she grabbed my beard and pulled it down!!! What a hdp!!! ...I was traumatized for about 1 week thinking that I had pulled out some of my glorious hairs that I so patiently and carefully let grow!...At the end of the day the saying is: "Don't talk to, flirt with, or seduce women!" drunks you don't know!... You can expect anything from them! They are unpredictable!... So it was my fault.

Even in South Africa we have beard haters. But even if I had to shave I know this same haters would just find something else to pick on. The beard exposes narsistic type people. The whole western corporate and army shaving culture has brain washed people that shaving is the only option.

Look at the difference when you have a full beard and when you clean shave a difference is as a lion and mouse. Beard looks so nice real manly dashing personality that’s lord blessed men with hair on their face. Grow beard again.

Just ordered a small scissor from Amazon! hopefully it will be game changer to trim down the Moustache with the scissor and not the trimmer before the hair goes down awkwardly to the mouth! :D

Some guys are too aggressive with trimming. The cheeks dip too low, the neckline is on the jaw, they shave an ugly pair of holes in the lower lip and shave off the top of the mustache. Why even have a beard if you're going to murder it like a Crepe Myrtle?

Greg Brazinsky from Beardbrand didn’t start growing hair on his cheeks till he was in his 30’s. I was 30 and was smoothed skinned on my cheeks and now at 48 I have beard hair on both sides. Though sparse it fills in more and more year over year. Some men continue to grow well into their 50’s

Hello! First of all: That's a really good looking beard. 👍 I've been wearing a beard myself for the last 25 years or so but I've always kept it at a length of only about 1.5 - 2 cm. However, a couple of weeks ago I got the idea of growing my moustache (not directly above the lips but at the sides) in order to be able to create a handlebar. Everything worked out fine and now I have got what I imagined. But now the point has come where it has to be shortened a bit. Unfortunately I am not sure how to actually do it. Shall I comb it downwards and trim it, sideways and trim it, curl it into handlebar position and trim it... ? Maybe you have a good tip for me. I would really appreciate any kind of advice. 🙂 Sorry for my English. I'm from Austria, so it's not my first language.

I don't know why western people used so much products on their skin and their beard etc. I think Big companies have tricked people into buying their stuff. For example first they same use soap on your face and when your skin becomes dry buy the lotion. same goes for beard. All i do is mix some fragrance with mustard oil and apply it on the beard oh boy the shine it gives you. in my profile pic i have a short beard but right now i have beard equals to you and mustard oil with fragrance is amazing.

I am trying to grow my beard past the 4 month mark. i have bald spots each time i have tried to grown one. they do fill in after the 2.5 month mark. I feel like the most challenging part is not genetics, because in spite of bald spots, my beard does get fully covered. the most challenging things are: 1) the transition from a cleanshaven face into a completely different one where you look completely different at the end of the 4th month. 2) The density of the beard and feeling of having extra weight on you face with all the itchinessmostly because of lack of good beard products and very hot climate. With that being said, thanks for you video and content.

I use a scentless beard oil from dr k soap company (they are Irish but you can find it world wide, at least, you can where I live). I prefer scentless because there are less ingredients added to it and scented products never worked for the skin under my beard well as I have sensitive skin.

You give the best beard tips! Any time I've been to a barber my beard looked really thin and see through. They always take too much of the side beard and the neckbeard away. I am abysmal at beard trimming but I am trying to improve. My tip for going to the barber is to explain to them what to do for every part of your beard. Start by saying you don't like a super slick and sharp style, but prefer a natural look. Tell them to not do anything under the beard. Just tell them you want to take a cm or whatever you want off, and show with your fingers how much. Tell them that less is more.

I'm a big fan of male facial hair, and I think you make some excellent points about proportion. Having said that, my personal opinion is that you've got way too much hair on your head. EVERYTHING is bushy - hair, neck, cheeks. I don't get to see your eyes, your shoulders look smaller. By all means, please yourself, just realize that some of your 'rules' may well be a turn off, even to women who enjoy bearded men.

He is totally right: Overtrimming ist one of the biggest issus. Whenever I have the idea to put the growing beard into a cleaner shape, I end up cutting of way too much. Also the neckbeard thing: 100% true

Guys overgroomed beard is like permanent makeup tacky- people should get some common sense and get back to natural hair distribution, there’s no need to start a vector program on your face
